Pace 2024 Ifpresent Java. This obviously fails to compile because the signature of ifpresent() takes a consumer which does not allow exceptions to be thrown from the accept() method. The computeifpresent() method calculates a value for an entry based on its key.

How can i execute a function on a value of a map only if it is present, without making any changes to the map? If an entry with the specified key does not exist or its value is null then the map is not changed.
